The Daryl-Evans Canadian Cyclocross Nationals held on the Westcoast here in my own hometown where I grew up and have had so many memories was this past weekend and after a full day of race set up, and wearing many different hats throughout the past couple days I was spent. I was a course Marshal, a S.O.R.C.E. advocate, Volunteer extrodinaire, friend, sister, sister in law, daughter, niece, anti-dopping chaperon, and supporter today....it was a long day. A bath was defs on the docet, but I fell asleep in the tub for over a half an hour (I think) and I was really sick that night after running around all day in wet to the bone clothing. I had the shakes all night. It took me the whole night, even while I was sleeping to warm up. I had to wear a scarf, pj's, and my pink furry housecoat to bed and I still wasn't warm. My hopes to race the next day were doubtful at that point as vomiting and bike riding are not my fav combo.
November 17th #Mo after a very long fun day at the Nationals
