Movember...November 29th..Hanging out with Susane and Skating at Robson Square

Susane was such a sport coming along to skate.

I kicked off my Winter Season just the way I like to...skating in my old Wifa's at Robson square.

Day 29....

I had the wonderful pleasure of spending my afternoon and evening with my amazing friend Susane. I got to take her sightseeing a bit in Vancouver and then for a well deserved haircut in Yaletown that turned out to be a BIG ta do and so much fun! What a day...then after all that Susane indulged me one of my guilty pleasures...The Robson Square Ice Rink had opened the day before and I was anxious to go skate....having been a figure skater for close to 10 years as a young girl/teenager skating is still a big part of who I am ...I still use the very same pair of WIFA's that I used back in the day for my competitions and shows....and they still fit...well they hurt my feet to tell you the truth but leather hardens over time so loosing them up every year is not just a skate down memory lane but rather a must!

Movember...November 28th...one of my Hero's completes her run across Canada, completely unsupported...way to go Susane!

Four of us gathered at The Tea House in Stanley Park to Celebrate Susane's Great accomplishment.

Day 28th....


What an amazing day...as I waited in the cold November rain for my friend Susane M. Johnson to complete her 135 day run across Canada I was in awe at all that she had accomplished, and completely unsupported as well, with just the clothes on her back and vulnerable to the elements and charity (or not) of strangers...her story is amazing but is dim in comparison to how much she shines!

Movemeber...November 27th....only a few more days left...and I can't wait!

My last practice ride before..what I thought at the time was to be my last race of the season a few days later..until I was hit by a car while riding my bike to go practice the course one more time..I should have stayed home :(

Ha!..now that is a 'stash'!

Day 27...

It is true..I am very VERY anxious for the end of November to conclude....only 4 more days and I for one am stoked...:{

Movemeber...November 26th...a wee visit to the Doc.

Visit to the Doctor

Day 26...

Just to clarify....I have been wearing the 'Mo' 24 hours a day and absolutely everywhere....so that includes wearing it when I went to see my Doctor for a female issue. He actually thought it was great and then said something I didn't expect, he said "I should have made more of an effort"...bless.  :{

Movember....November 25th...a visit from Dexter

Dexter wanted to get in this one...but he kept wanting to lick the 'stash' lol

Day 25...

I have for sometime now been growing very tired of the unwanted attention. So, as a result I have been staying at home more often. Happy that daughter #1 came over today with our family dog Dexter. He was so excited, but he actually was barking at me like a stranger when he first came to the door because he didn't recognize me lol...he actually, by habit, doesn't care for Men that have facial hair, never has, so I found that very funny and a bit of a compliment as well...<tee hee>
